Learn-to-Swim

We offer Preschool swimming and Red Cross lessons from Level II Primary Skills, Level III Stroke Readiness, Level IV Stroke Development, Level V Stroke Refinement, Level VI Skill Proficiency and Level VII Advance Skills.  Children registered for the preschool must be at least 3 years of age by the first day of class and comfortable being in water without a parent to register for the class.  This class will be taught in the kid pool which only gets 2 feet.  Skills will be assessed the first day of class.  Before moving on the next level, all skills must be checked and demonstrated correctly.  Due to low enrollment in some levels, it is sometimes necessary to utilize one instructor to teach more that one swim level.  Sometimes programs with great instructors have to be cancelled due to lack of participation.  Please register early to ensure your spot and continuation.  All lessons will be taught at Rob Leake City Pool by a qualified swim instructor with lifeguards on deck.  There will be 3 sessions and each class will be approximately 45 minutes beginning at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Registration Dates:  May 6 - 23, 2008 or until classes are full.

          Session 2:  June 16 - 26
          Session 3:  July 7 - 17
