Hours:  Tuesday - Friday  9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Saturday  10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.   Hours may differ for special events.   Contact Museum for more info.

Admission:  Adults - $3.00, Seniors (60 & over) - $2.00, Children (3 - 12) - $1.00 and children under 3 - Free.

School groups of 10 or more is $1.00 per student (Teachers and teacher's aides with groups are free.  Adult chaperones with groups are $2.00 per person.

Adult groups of 10 or more is $2.00 per person.

History:  Housed in a historic 1937 diary barn, the Oren Dunn City Museum offers a unique view into the past.  The collection gives the visitor glimpses of Tupelo history.  The Museum has undergone extensive renovations with new and exciting exhibits.

Exhibits on Display:

  • Recreation of the Battle of Tupelo during the civil War

During the year the museum hosts numerous rotating exhibits which include archeology, patriotic artwork, Thanksgiving and Christmas artwork and antique toys.

Burger Festival
Every May the museum hosts the Dudies Burger Festival.  This festival pays homage to the famous Dudies Diner.  During the festival, there is live music, living history demonstrations and children's games.  The museum offers free admission for the festival.
Toy Exhibit
During the month of December, the museum hosts the annual antique toy exhibit.  This exhibit includes toys from the late 1800's until 1969.
Holiday Events
During the first week in December, the museum hosts its Christmas Open House.  This free event is in conjunction with Tupelo Parks and Recreation Christmas Lighting of Ballard Park.
